BX Seat Belt is Killing me, HELP

This must be a problem with the bx only. I never noticed the belt getting too tight on my B2710. I'm 6' and 170 lbs. I wear the belt all the time. The only problem I have is my pants riding up If I have long pants on, With shorts its not a problem.

I am glad its not a problem with the short pants, that would be real embarassing and drafty too I'm sure.

Maybe what we need is a couple of little shock absorbers on those springs. Dampen out some of the bounce and give less chance to the belt to keep ratcheting down!

They stop at my crotch if you know what I mean. Its a little tight down there when It happens. I have to keep standing up and pulling the pant legs down to get comfortable. I guess I need baggy pants on when mowing. Maybe I will have to start mowing in sweat pants!

I don’t have a BX, but is there any way or place that the seat belt could be relocated to the upper part of the seat chassis. On my MF 1250 the seat will tilt over the steering wheel and the belt is attached just under the seat. I don’t have any problems with mine, but mine doesn’t recoil.
