Thought I would share a picture of my latest creation. I wasn't looking for another project, but I couldn't find a carry all locally and by the time you added shipping, the price was well over $200.

So for the price of about 16 feet of 3/16 inch 2 X 2 1/2 Steel and a couple of pins, I put together this carry all. It is just the right size for the BX. The arms project out about 2 feet.

So far I have carried a little over 300 lbs with it and the welds show no sign of breaking. This is my second real project with my new to me welder (MIG Lincoln SP 125).

I have been reading this forum for about a year now and have learned a lot from it. Thank you to all who have posted. Your knowledge has been invaluable. By the way I have never seen a carry all in real life before building this one. I was able to do it from all the great postings on this site.

Looks to me like there could be many uses for your carry all. Nice job. Gerard

One of the biggest uses I have for it is moving some of the concrete blocks I made from one end of the yard to the other. Each one weighs a little over 100 lbs and I can put 3 on per trip. Sure beats the old way of moving them using a dolly. I would have to drag it over logs and rocks, up and down hills and valleys. What a work out. Here is a picture with the carry all loaded up.

Next project is a ballast box that fits in tight to the tractor. The little BX 1500 looks real small on the street, but in the yard it looks real big. Funny how that works

Oly--

Great job!

If I would recommend a change, I'd suggest welding some trailer stake brackets on the outboard sides. That way, you could install 2x4's into them and build sides that could be 6", 1', or 2' tall, depending on what you wanted to haul.

You could get creative and rig the rear to open easily (like removing a coupla pins, so you could move lose material. Of course, you do have the FEL for that also............
