BX Starting

Hi everyone.
I have a BX 1850 and when I turn the key to run position (before starting engine) there is some eratic clicking noises from the underside. Is this the diesel fuel pump?

That is the fuel supply pump, abolutely normal to hear that sound.

A few minutes after you turn it off you will also hear the shut off reset too.
