Mowing BX striping issue

Any ideas why the little stripe is occurring in the middle of my stripe?

I adjusted the deck so the front center anti scalping roller didn't hit first but that didn't solve the issue.

Unusual.

Almost like there is one blade either lower than the others, mounted incorrectly or has something dragging on the grass. The stripe is in the same spot in both directions, that makes me think it is an issue with one blade only. Tires inflated evenly?

Have you pulled your deck off? First thing id do is pull it off and check the blades for sharpness and correct installation.

Then Id reinstall and use the Deere deck height gauge to set your deck up correct.

one blade damaged/dull (might explain the browness in strip too=dull rips grass and browns it more then a clean cut), deck clogged up in that area not allowing vacumm pick up as good as other areas=clean underneath deck, possibly a belt slipping on that side=check slack. your lawn looks real nice=nice job, will look really good when you get that streak fixed.

I'm suspecting a bent mower blade on that side. Its possible that the spindle mounting is bent on the deck but I doubt it due to its robust thickness of the deck.

Time to pull tractor onto a flat driveway or garage floor and measure height of blade from tip to tip. rotate blade 180 and check height again and compare.

Make sure the blade is tight, I had a loose one once.

Check the baffling on the deck and make sure it is not bent or missing.

I had one blade upside down and it look like that. Hope that helped

have you checked your blades yet?

Visually they look fine but I ordered a replacement set as I hate only having one. I'm going to change them out next weekend and see if that solves the problem.
