I would like to ballast my wheels on my BX2200, does anyone know the best stuff to use? I have heard that windshield washer fluid works, but what is the downfall to using that stuff? And how in the heck do you get it in there?
Thanks!

Thanks for the link, I was searching for wheel ballast and not tire loading.
So, at the risk of turning this into a hot debate, I have one more question.
If I want my BX to be less likely to tip when mowing, ballast or wheel weights will help, right?

Either one will cure your problem. The wheel weights can be taken off easier should you not need them all the time on the tractor.

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( case wheel weights are under $100 for the pair. )</font>

Thanks! And I bet they won't rust my rims either!

i like the idea of the wheel weights, can be removed so the weight is not always with u.

Do you want Ballast for the FEL? The tire weight might help some, but I highly recommend using a 3pt attachment. Whether it's a design you create, or a implement you'll be happier and feel safer.

Also, I prefer wheel weights over the liquid filled tires. But I'd say it's 6 of one, half dozen of the other.
