BX1500 and roto-tiller?

I'm looking at a slightly used BX1500. Now I'm mostly interested in having a FEL when I'm not mowing, but at som epoint I will have a use for a tiller when I go to redo the lawn.

So my question for those BX1500 owners is, what tillers are you using with the 1500? How is the performance?

The Kubota B40C is a great tiller for the BX series tractors. Probably have to shorten the driveline. Cost is around $1600.00. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I was just looking at the B40C at the Kubota site. Looks like a good unit, but then they all do in pictures. Do you have any first hand experience?

CCM has gear drive tillers for a BX1500 tractor. Prices start at $800.

Yes, I have use the B40C tiller on a BX and this last week, we sold 3 on BX tractors with no complaints.

I have a BX1500 and a 36" Land Pride tiller. Works great! It is also very heavy so it is what I use as a counterweight when doing FEL work.

Thanks for the info. Most of the info I can find on tillers specifies greater that 10.5 PTO HP that the 1500 is rated at so I wanted to hear from those with experience.

Now to convince the wife.
