Is anyone aware of any aftermarket manufacturers that make a front blade for a BX1500, or have adapted any others?
Kubota wants around $1400 for their front blade and it still has a manual angle. I just want it for pushing snow, I already have a loader on my LSeries tractor, but would like to use the BX1500 for snow since it's smaller and more maneuverable for the tighter areas I plow.
A rear blade doesn't really work well for my application because of the slopes involved, it's too hard to climb the hills with the tires in the snow while dragging the blade. I could drive up the hill in the cleared area and only plow going down, but this doubles the time.
