- What oil and filter did use for the HST? Kubota brand from the dealer

UDT or SUDT? what filter number?

- How many hours since the suction screen was cleaned? 75H or so

Huh? The tranny fluid was out 75 hours ago too? I am talking about the screen under the banjo bolt behind the left rear wheel.

Dex had another VERY good idea. Check your parking brake. Common mistake to leave it on.

UDT or SUDT? what filter number? Im not too sure about the oil.. its what the dealer gave me.. same with the filter.. the filter was painted gray.. no #'s on it.. i thought it was odd.

I dont know if things got worse after i borrowed it to a guy a few houses down the road.. he was using the loader and did not know it had low gear (he drove down to his house in high gear) when he came back he said "man this thing just wines when you try to load it up" then i told him when you are doing heavy work it needs to be in low:eek: dont know if thats what started this all, i wonder if it just squished the pressure relief spring so much from bypassing that its now shorter... hence lower PSI now

Im going out to cut the lawn now and I will let you know how it acts with a small shim added to the spring

Brad,
I hope that you get it figured out. One reason I would rather go do the work for a neighbor and I have rather than loan a tractor out is because you never know what they actually did to the unit. I do know it is not good to operate the fel a lot in high. I also hope the dealer gave you sudt as they is what is recommended on the change. Having said that, the only time I ever noticed a problem with my 1500 was when operating the FEL and BB and I left the hydraulic control lever partially up instead of the neutral position after raising the BB and took off up hill with a load on the FEL man it got real weak and had a whine to it. I stopped and noticed the lever position and put in in neutral and it smoothed right out and stopped the noise. Take care-TPS
