Update:
Problem was fixed today..........Was a bolt which was resting crooked which held the tension pulley.......Took it out reseated it and good as new......
Now have 4 hrs on it and am enjoying it. I installed a Tiny Tach today and will post some pics tomorrow.
I also found out that with the new style hood releases on the 2004 models you have to check under the dash and make sure the hood release when pressed does not hit any of the wires for the temp gauge. I was under there messing around with routing the tach wires and saw the hood release where it would hit the wires. Eventually probably causing damage to them or the gauge.
I also got to compare the b1550 with the bx1500 today as my uncle has the 1550................No comparison...........the 1550 with 4x4, Hst, and bi speed turn is a much beefier tractor with more usable features but definitely was much more expensive as it was $16000 14 years ago!!!
