BX1500 LA181 FEL Bucket Hooks

Finally got around to welding on the bucket hooks for the LA181 FEL on my BX1500. The end hooks are 3/8" weld-on forged grab hooks (WLL 6600#). I welded them on a piece of 2"x4"x1/4" flat stock for added stregnth. I also did not weld them right to the edge, as this would prevent a chain from engaging onto the hook, so I left a 1/2" gap, which accomadates the chain with no problem. The center hook is a 3/8" slip hook that I welded directly onto the center 1/4" plate (WLL 5000#). To finish it off, I sanded, primed, and repainted the entire bucket.

Nice job! Based on comments here on TBN, I went with the same setup on my B7800. You will find no end of uses for those hooks.
