Hi all - we're considering getting a little tractor for narrow-access light work, mostly carrying bags of this or that but also the occasional bucket of soil.
I see a BX1500 nearby on CL; it's got the LA181 loader.
I believe that means that the loader is good for ~180kg... which would mean "almost no lifting capacity with the bucket attached".

How much could one expect to carry - such as soil or dirt, or bags of stuff - in the bucket? Assume properly counterbalanced.

Thanks!

KubotaBooks has that loader manual, and lists the bucket weight at 123 lbs and lift capacity at 400 lbs (presumably full height at pins). 277 remaining lift capacity full height at pins.
That appears to equate to about 1/2 a bucket full of average dirt estimated at 100 lbs per cubic foot.

Real life it's stronger then it shows on paper. While not a powerhouse, it's well matched and plenty capable, can lift a full bucket of dirt, as long as it's not soaking wet clay.

My dad bought his new in '05 I believe.
