Yea, I have not pulled one of those but I can see how the lights could be in a bad spot with sharp turns and certain impements. By the way mind sharing how you think you might have bent the 4wd shaft up front? I worry about mine because I have to go up and down such a steep hill in 4wd. I would like to avoid any problems I can.

I bent the shaft when we had a bunch of large ash trees taken down. While cutting up the logs for firewood, I ran over some small logs in 2WD. I ended up having one get lodged between the frame and the shaft and it was in there really tight where I basically had to remove the shaft to get it out (and that was a project in itself). When it got out of round slightly, it made a ton of noise. I replaced it and all was normal again.

Don't upgrade ; just keep the BX1500 when you get a B series.
