I have many be the same problem you have, it leaks at the pivit seal. I had tighten the bolt and it stopped til I plowed snow 2 weeks ago, then it started again but not as bad as before. Lets see how many respond this thread.
Glad I decided to get 54" mower and not the 48" Plenty of
power. Love the front loader. It kept up with the tri-axles of topsoil dropped last summer. Let me know if you hear of any more specifics on that pivot leak. I thought I heard Kubota
changed their type of seal on it?
What year is your BX1500? Maybe the seal/washer was changed on yours already. I bought mine in 2003. By the
way I'm glad I chose to go with this model. It has done everything I could ask of it. Know that my heaviest landscaping has been done, it is the perfect size to use
around the house mowing and moving snow. Got my moneys worth in one year. Hiring a landscaper to grade and spread fill/soil would have cost me $800 a day.
Was the seal under warranty. If not, what did it cost?
Do you have the exact name of the seal and exact location.
Your red circle is around the gray four wheel drive resevoir or is the seal behind the bronze nut above the gray resevoir?
