Kubota BX1800
I purchased a demo BX1800 two weeks ago with about 55 hours on it. The dealer did no service to it so I asked them for the fluids/filters. They have not found the owners manual and have ordered one for me and I need to know where to clean the screen out when I change my fluid and filter.

Thanks

I don't have a scanner, so I tried taking a picture with my camera and it turned out ok so here it is. The strainer is just below and behind the left rear axle as viewd from behind it and shown in this picture.

This one showing the strainer removed, didn't come out as well, but hopefully you can see it.

Anytime, glad to help. I think you will be very pleased with the 1800. I truly love mine, now have 41 hours on it, and am about to do my 50 hour service as well. Need to go to dealer to get the stuff in a week or two. Hard to believe it is already that time. Seems like I only put about 50 hours a year on my old cub cadet /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif of course it wasn't new and I didn't have a loader either /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I replaced a Cub Cadet 1440 that I purchased in 1995. really liked it but the local dealer was not very user friendly and the deck was a total loss. Will keep the old tractor because it is great to tow stuff around and mybe I will come across a 42 inch deck someday.

Mine is an 1811. I had a connecting rod go on one cylinder go this winter during one of the larger snow falls. So now I have a Cub 1811 running on 1 cylinder with 50" deck and 42" snow blade that I need to get around and try to sell. Not sure what to ask for it, so maybe I ought to see what people think in the Cub forum. In general the tractor is in great shape including the deck and blade. Shame that engine went, but if it hadn't I wouldn't have my Kubota now either /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif So I guess all things are meant for a reason.
