Oil & Fuel BX1800 - repriming fuel system

I have a new / used BX1800, and I managed to run out of diesel with 1/2 a tank showing on the fuel gauge.

Can anyone tell me how to reprime the system? Yes, I know I need to order a manual, but I'd like to get back up and running before it gets here.

You should be able to just turn the key on for about 30 seconds to let the electric fuel pump build up pressure to the injector pump. Then start it, might take a couple of times.

Well, I started it a few times, but I probably didn't let the fuel pump run that long. I'll give that a try.

i ran my B7100 out of diesel a couple weeks ago. i used the search thread here and this fantastic board came up with the perfect suggestions.

for the B7100 i just cracked the bleeder valves at the fuel pump per the suggestions of previous threads and it cranked right up. took a 10mm wrench about about 4 minutes.

I tried searching, but didn't find anything specific to the BX1800. I guess I should try again with different search terms.
