I have done several searches and read posts about putting a block heater in the 30mm freeze plug behind the muffler. I have looked at my BX and question if there is enough room. Has any one installed one there BX1850?
Dealer sells some type of heater that looks like it connects to the side of the block in two places. They want a mere $200 for this option.
Other options:
Magnetic heaters: Not as efficient but better than nothing
The reason I am considering this is because I will only use this ocassionally in the winter and would prefer to spend a little on electricity Vs a lot on parts.
