I changed both my fuel filters at my 50hr service. Now at 133hrs, the one under the floorboard looks funky.
So I copied 4shorts and put a Kubota Grand L filter on in its place.
I liked the idea of using a Kubota part than the Racor (even though its a better filter). I like the removable sight glass and shut off on it and I figure filters will be readily available ($3.35 for a cartridge).
I will probably make a guard for it sometime. 1463110871444.jpg1463110891005.jpg

Looks great! I never enjoy changing the fuel filters on my bx2200. I have said for a few years I should do something different. At least put a shutoff value somewhere or something.

Thanks for the pics.
