I had the same deal. The original filter is grey ans seems about 0.500 inches longer. the replacement is a bit smaller and white. You are correct about the part number. I had to look twice and make sure the dealer gave me the correct filters and not Hyd filters. I added Amsoil 15w40 and the engine is much quiter now. Going to do the Hyd with 3 weeks.

Wix makes Napa's filters. Just drop the first number.
A Wix 51064 is a Napa 1064.
