I've got all the supplies to make that BX22 Backhoe Dolley in the garage, and "Bernie" took it off his website that I had bookmarked. Guess the original post was about 6 months ago? I suppose I could scratch-build it, but the photos and concept were good (and why re-invent the wheel?) so if anyone has them saved and could forward them to me it would be MOST appreciated. E-mail to drcollie@cox.net.

Orignially, the photos were at :

Thanks much....I hate to leave the backhoe outside in the weather and the dolley is going to be the only way to keep it inside the garage.

Great pictures - the only thing I don't understand is what you make the longer dolly so long. Wouldn't a much shorter dolly just to support the contact points work?

Hi TBN users!, I made the BH roller/dolly using the 2 by 4's because it was also to be used for a loader dolly & tiller. You could make it shorter if not being used for a loader. You do not want to make it too short, as it might want to tip. It was just a quick thing I made that seemed to work well. Now the process on HOW to use it too sometime.

Any suggestions or mods to it, let me know. I will update as you wish.

The biggest thing in the process I feel is steps 6 and 7. I does take sometime to get used to doing it.

I will re-edit the page since I forgot to bold and underline somethings. Also I will add that you need bolts long enough to go through the (2) 2 by 4's, mounthing plate of dolly and though the bolt being used to secure it. If you use a bolt to long it will hit the wheel(s); hence, you will not be able to turn the dolly in a all directions.

I will add this note to the page within 45 minutes. Sorry I forgot to add that.

***The link is in my home page on my signature. Do not worry I will not remove it! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I might add more detail or other tips, tricks etc down the road. If you guys want me to make a webpage for ya let me know. I have like 50 or 75 MG left. Plus it is fun...

All updated guys. I just bolded some text, used numbers on the steps & added a note on the top of the page about bolt length.
