bx2200 electrical problems

Have a bx2200 tractor will only run if I hold the key in the start position. When I let go of key it just turns off. I have replaced the ignition switch and the stop solenoid. When I turn the key the 20 amp fuse also blows . Please help really need to get working asap. Any suggestions

I have just finished tracking down a short in my bx2200. It was where the wire bundle goes through the firewall. My issue was lights but after finding the short other wires were damaged including the wire to the solenoid.
Might start there.

When you hold it in the "run" position, is the starter also turning?
What does that 20amp fuse protect?

The 20 amp fuse protects the fuel shut off solenoid. The solenoid fails closed to prevent the engine from running away and not shutting down.
Sounds like you have a short in the wiring.
