BX2200 FEL not working

Today when I hooked up my FEL it will not tilt back up. It tilts down, moves up and down but will not tilt back up. First tractor so I'm not sure what to look at first or try??

It was used 2 weeks ago and worked fine.

Sounds like the tilt cylinder hoses are crossed.

If the hoses are not crossed, then I'll bet one of them just isn't plugged in completely.

You both said what I was going to say. It must be something simple, ie. hyd line crossed.

One of them is not plugged in good. They can look like they are and not be.

I reconnected the hoses and it did indeed fix the problem. One of them must not have been snapped in all the way. Thanks for the help!!

Glad to hear that you solved the problem.

I have a BX2200 and I don't think that you can cross the hoses on our tractor models. They only fit one way on my tractor unless you get the wrenches out.

I have had a similar problem with my loader on my BX. If I have a heavy load in the bucket and do a quick dump from a high position, the loader will not work properly until I remove and reconnect one of the hoses. I don't remember which one it is right now. Have it marked on the machine. I have had this happen to me 3 times now and the last time, I found that one of the hose quick disconnects came apart slightly. I believe that it might be improperly machined and might not be holding tight enough. I have pulled on all the connections trying to pull them apart, and they are all tight, yet one will still come apart when working the loader.
