BX2200 flat front tire

Geez here I thought this was just a John Deere problem, I've had 2 flats this week on my 2210. I just stocked up on patches and glue, the tires come off the rims real easy once ya get the bead broke, If this keeps up I guess I will have to find the green stuff, wheres a good place to look for it?

Got a real dumb question....what do you use if anything if you have loaded tires?

yup, had a bunch of em until I filled mine with Arnco's Soft fil. Its a gel that fills the tires without durning hard, so you still have a nice ride, but no more flats. Ever. hehe.

OK, it's been about 18 hours since I "slimed" the front tire and then mowed a little. It's still full and there is a dime-sized blob of green stuff at the very top, so that's where the hole was. Never did find anything in it, but I'm guessing wild-rose thorn. For that size tire, the bottle recommended 16oz, which is the entire bottle. It's a pain to squeeze it all in, but better than taking the wheel off.
