Just to let you know, you rock. And it looks like you got a HECK of a deal. I'd love to be able to do this for Pops, but as it is I'm purchasing a trailer (a new 7' x 16' car/equipment trailer for ~$1,800) sufficient to transport my rig/attachments to his house (about 2.5 hours away) and knock out his projects together. He is retiring in March.
Dad's projects include: Widen street culvert to better 5th wheel access, installing several french drains to divert spring water and fix several yard drainage issues, completely restore/replace driveway, install privacy fence on rear patio, install potable water line to 5th wheel, install "grass pave" under where 5th wheel is driven/accessed (ruts badly in rain), remove dead Apple tree, remove various root mats/stumps from trees past.
Figure I can get all that done in 2 or 3 days, right?
Just curious though...a question for the brain trust...why does one need both a MMM and a Bush Hog? Is it a mow quality thing? I figured if your terrain was rough enough to warrant a Bush Hog, you'd just use that to mow the rest of your yard. Obviously I don't know much, though.
