I'm just not sure the b7500 is $2,000 more tractor than the BX.</font color=blue>
Oh, I'm pretty sure it is, maybe more so than a
B2410 is $2,000 more than a
B7500. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Take a look at the comparison here
B Series comparison to see all the differences. I've heard this before, and am convinced that all the people that have stated that haven't really added it all up.
Here are a couple of the more notable items:
1 - More HP (actually about 20% more HP on an apples to apples basis)
2 - More torque: about 10% more
3 - More cooling capacity (same as the
B2410, but with a smaller engine)
4 - 12% larger frame (much heavier than the specs indicate because the weights are calculated differently)
5 - 6" more ground clearance
6 - Smaller turning radius (if using differential braking)
7 - 30% more hydraulic capacity (BX splits hydraulics between implements & PS,
B7500 has a second pump (3+ gpm) for steering)
8 - Two speed rear PTO
9 - 55% more lifting capacity on 3PH (measured 24" back)
