I really wanted to thank you guys for this thread. If you saw my earlier post I had said the dealer wanted a lot for a set of bar tires when I purchased the machine. I got the machine with turfs - which are great - even in snow.... BUT ... I need the R1s because after all that snow the yard is a mud factory and I still have tree debris and other work to clean up.
I called the dealer again last thursday, info in hand (from above) to see what we could figure out. Apparently the pre-built tires do come "palletized" as a set and ended up costing me $350; no freight. Called Thursday, were in my truck on Saturday. My wife didn't see me for the rest of the weekend!
Just wanted to say thanks for contributing - you probably saved me at least a couple of hundred dollars.
