I'm getting ready to change the Hydraulic/Transmission fluid on my BX but before I do I wanted to ask those of you who had NO problem in removing the Hydraulic filter and "strainer", since I read previous posts stating that the filter was difficult to remove. In regard to the "strainer" can anyone advise what size socket is used??....does it (strainer) just unscrew counterclockwise?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif.....any other tips that I should keep in mind while changing the fluid out???...THANKS

THE filter should be no problem getting off

but the strainer is very tight so make sure you use
correct socket size, i dont recall what size it is. also
make sure you have a big enough container to catch
the hyd fuild , there is quite a bit
