... so I texted that last 13 second video of the leakage to a very empathetic Kubota scrapper husband and wife team in Saskatchewan who said within seconds that it is most likely the gasket and if I am changing it to get the seals as they might be damaged when I pull that section off. He suggested I check all the bolts and if one is loose to tighten it and see if it reduces the leakage. Makes sense since he figures there's 150 lbs of pressure in there. Parts ordered and expected after the weekend... 020 -> #6610136820 $15 CDN; 280 -> 6610136780 $10 CDN; #200-> #6C05098260 - $65 CDN go figure.... If no more news after this post, you'll know that if this happens to you, what to do... Pumps are like $4,000. Used ones almost impossible to find, rebuilds don't last is what I have learned through this exercise... Labour if the entire process were farmed out would be almost as much as the pump...

I will bring the entire unit to the dealer for them to change all the o-rings and what I suspect is the middle gasket that leaks. It's mostly disconnected and I found the 2 top of 4 bolts that hold it in place, loose and one behind which appears to be an Allen key head so loose that it's almost falling out. That said, I cannot get the unit out. Please anyone who knows, please let me know what I missed. The manual just says, " remove HST"... There are 2 bars that block it from moving forward or up. I don't know how to remove either of them... I feel like crying.

SOLVED: tightened bolt behind HST unit, was unsure of size of key, but it was pretty much unreachable by any Allen Key even cut to fit, so tightened by plyers, with a bunch of Locktite blue... started up the machine and it did not leak. There is a mm of space behind the bolt on the other side of the (back of the HST unit) so hopefully it will not loosen. I will put cardboard underneath to monitor for any drips but it's not gushing or showing any at this point.

NOTE- The unit cannot be removed without pulling the transmission... my Woods backhoe and possibly the frame that comes with it would need to come off.
