BX2200 motor cutting out ??

All the comments have been good. Having already bypassed the seat switch, I would try jiggling and messing with the other interlocks to see if you can get it to shut off. Starting with the neutral switch on the tranny control lever, the engagement switch on the pto, etc. I'm assuming this unwanted shut-off is NOT when running hot or after long periods of intense usage. Like Dodge Man i recall seeing posts about rotted/deteriorating fuel level sending units but that should have shown you crud in the filters. The tank has to be vented to avoid a vacuum developing but that seems unlikely to be this issue (pull the cap off and see if it ever quits with the cap off to eliminate that cause.) As TripleR said there have been a bunch of cases of some obstruction in the tank at the fuel outlet which might account for the thing going down to half rpm and then going back up to normal again in your half hour mower test. I do not know how to get in easily to check for obstructions.

Long shot but check the seat safety switch. Mine was having somewhat similar problem and it ended up being the seat switch. Took it apart and cleaned it and problem solved.

I've bypassed my seat safety switch, but won't get to try it till weekend. Hope that is the end of the issue.

On my 03 BX2200 the bottom of the fuel tank where the line come out is translucent. If you shine a light through it you can see any obstruction in the outlet.
You might run some cleaner through it to help clear out any junk stuck in the lines.
I add power service in the white bottle to all my fuel. 1440hrs later no issues.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had removed and bypassed the main seat safety switch. Ran unit an hour today mowing and doing some loader work. I still need to run it faster across the ground to make sure it still runs ok (not cutting out), but it worked FLAWLESSLY today!

Thanks for all your great tips. My service manual should arrive in a week, but not sure if it is of any value or not.
