Does the BX2200 have enough power to run a 72" rear discharge mower?

I have about 8 slightly slooping acres to mow.

Could anyone hazard a guess at what speed (MPH) the BX2200 could run the mower over weekly cut turf?

Thanks,

(This is a very cool site)

I'm guessing yes, and easily. I cut 4 acres of 3 FT high field last year with the 60" deck, and I wasn't at full power. I did stall it once, but I was chomping into the tall stuff that was overshot with cuttings, and partially wet to boot...

Just run the engine at full power.

It probably has enough HP, but can the three point handle lifting it? My 60" landpride (400+ #) on my TC will make the tractor pop a wheelie up a hill. I have 1,200# lift capacity vs 660# for BX.

From what I hear here, the BX 60" MMM is supposed to be the cat's meow.

It probably would, but why would you want to? I love my tractor, but if I was not going to have a MMM, I would have bought a larger B-series. If you are convinced that a RFM is the way to go, I think another tractor B2410,2710, or an equivalent is what you want.

Thanks for the replies.
Guess i'll have to mow less of the place or look at getting a larger tractor.

Thanks again,
still pondering
