BX2200 Oil Filter??

I believe that any of these part numbers will work just fine. The 70000-15241 is tha american made filter and will cost you less than the others which are made in Japan.

Here they mention a cross-reference to a fram’s filter I’m wonder if someone can post the reference number. Also I'm wonder if you guys can build a list of tools (Brand and model) that will fit the BX with no many problems, that would be very helpful for new BX owners.

Here is a current list of the correct filters for the Bx2200 and BX1800tractors.

Please read the notes below for more info on this matter.

The Oil filter has multiple Id's due to origin of the part.

For the BX2200,
15241-32090 CARTRIDGE, OIL FILTER - Replaced By 15241-32099 FILTER, ENG OIL The "9" is a reminder that there is a less expensive american made filter available.

70000-15241 is the American version of this filter.
The 70000 is Kubota's key as an American made product.

They are equal in every way, the American filter will often sell for much less that the import version.

BEWARE the 66021-36060 (for B Series) Transmission Filter mentioned Is NOT the correct filter for the BX series Tractor Use K2561-36990 for the best protection on a BX Series Tractor.

Trans Filter K2561-36990
Air Fiter K1211-82320
Fuel Filter 12581-43012 (2)

BX1800 OIL FILTER is 15853-32430 not the Filters Mentioned above.

Thanks for the info! However, Tractorsmart has listed 66021-36060 as hydraulic transmission filter they offer for the BX2200. Check it out!!! Is this a better filter or again did they change the disguise of the filter to prevent the third party manufacturers from selling the product to the large BX market ???? Also, my local dealer is selling 15241-32093 as the oil filter for the BX2200. Different than your post. No matter what anyone says, something is screwed up here! Why did tractorsmart list this filter?

I've run into engine rebuilders that won't guarantee a rebuild if they know it has ever had a Fram filter on it.

If you do cut them open they do seem kind of cheesy compared to OEM filters, the way the end plates, which controls if the oil is filtered or not, are attached.

I even saw a comparison test on one of the MOPAR sites that blasted them for a number of reasons, a very lengthy piece. In the aftermarket, the WIX brand seems to be the best, it has a couple of other marketed names, same filter, different name, I don't remember the other ones.

If you hear anything from your local shops I'd like to see it relayed here. These tractors cost more then a Ferrari to rebuild. Doesn't make sense to skimp. The OEM filters, you never know what they are selling, and what with the previous discussions about how Kubota says one thing about UDT and Super UDT and the dealers basically disregard it, I'm at a loss to feel I know ANYTHING about ANYTHING Kubota wise anymore!

Use Fram PH3593A. Kubota makes tractors not filters. Like any company that want to make money the contract with the cheapest supplier possible and have their name pput on the filter. My BX2200 is 10 years old and has 627 hours on it. I found out about the Fram filter from the Farm Supply store.

Did you notice this is 10 yr old thread? Filters are cheap. Why use something that is known to be different and may not help your engine. All filters are not equal.

Just beware that some of the BX filters do cross to filters made for motorcycles.
