I never even considered the BX when I decided on the
B7500. I
did consider one of the larger B-servies however /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.
Now that I've had the
B7500 for almost a month, and have 18 or 20 hours on it, I am still happy with the purchase. In retrospect, the
BX2200 may have been enough for the work I am doing with the
B7500, but I have my doubts. The lower center of gravity, and the slightly smaller overall size of the BX certainly has its appeal. However, there have already been at least a half-dozen instances when I was just a little over the capabilities of the
B7500. I'm certain that that number would be much larger if I'd gotten a BX.
For your uses (<font color=blue>
Mow Lawn, Blow Snow and Till Garden.</font color=blue>), I think I would lean toward the BX. If you are thinking you need different capabilities (BH or post hole digger, or box scraper), I'd lean toward the B series.
Right tool for the job and all that. Who it was that said: <font color=blue>
