I hate to start this thread again but I do not think Kubota tractors are sold by year model. I think they are block changed rather than year changed and if a block change coincides with the new year I guess that is good. I think there is a date of manufacture on the tractor but a block change may well split a year. If you see a good deal on a so called 2002 vs a so called 2003 you might want to take it. I don't think tailfins are going to be in this year any more than last. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif J

Trescrows and all,
Have there been any major changes to the 2200 line recently? Any changes worth mentioning in the last couple years?
Any rumored changes coming in the near future worth waiting for?
I would be interested in knowing because I am presently in a state of partial insanity and considering buying a 2200 to keep my b2910 company... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Re: BX2200 - Physical differences between 2002/200
Henro,
Well they added the winker lights /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I don't know about the BX2200, 1800 or 22 but I was looking at the new 1500 and they did away with the gas guage (idiot light), added driver seat detection circuitry, and redesigned the loader joystick and mounts. I don't know if any of this will show up on the others. I usually talk to the region reps at the open houses and state fairs and often times they don't or won't say what is planned.
It took them two years to come out with a rear remote kit /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I'm sure the b2910 would love the company /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yes Bill, you are in fact INSANE. TBN has done this to you. No treatment could help--you are done for /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Your only hope to satisfy your tracrtor needs is to purchase the BX right now.
No--I know of no changes that are desireable. I hope all that interlock junk will stay on the 1500 only. I suspect that Kubota will eventually offer a larger BX. J
Why is this insane? You have two eyes, two feet, two hands,so one can only expect to have two tractors. It is only natural,or am I just whacky too. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Kubota L3560, Toro 52" and 60" ZTRs, Kubota RTV 900
Amen on that interlock stuff!!! If a person isn't bright enough not to get off the tractor with the PTO engaged, or look backwards when they back up, they should not be on a tractor /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I listen to my neighbor mow with a Cub Cadet with the reverse PTO shutoff; his PTO must get engaged/disengaged 100 times mowing an acre lot.

Re: BX2200 - Physical differences between 2002/200
They do not go by model year. If you get the serial number of the unit and call Kubota they can give you the manufacture date. That's what I did when I purchased my BX2200.
yep! they seem to carry that interlock stuff a bit to far. also some of the warings are quite funny! DO NOT OPERATE UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS anyone want to tell me what that means? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
