I agree with the front mount if you can, but I have neck issues that about require that. Also agree that you can go slow and probably make it work. MyI think you'd find a front blower more comfortable to use.
On the rear one your looking at, just go slow with first pass and take 1/2 to 3/4 width cuts after that.

I have a 50" blower on my BX2200. Works great.
If I upgrade machines, I can get the wings that bolt right on to make it a 60".
I prefer rear mount and keep my loader on for ice removal or back dragging in cove areas that I can't use the blower in.
