I have a bx2200 and have been looking at rear snowblowers, I have been told 48-52” but found a like new inland 60” is that too big for the bx2200. Also for reference I like on top of a hill in upstate NY and average snowfall is 120” a year, so I will be using it.

Having had 4 different tractor snow blowers, the common functional factor is maintaining impeller speed. An over sized blower just means your ground speed may have to be very slow. With hydrostatic drive , you can do that.

I skipped over being able to lift and maneuver the oversized blower. You may need front weights.

I think you'd find a front blower more comfortable to use.
On the rear one your looking at, just go slow with first pass and take 1/2 to 3/4 width cuts after that.

Reinforcing Toyboy, all 4 of mine have been front mounted. First two mechanical and two current hydraulic drives.

I agree with the front mount if you can, but I have neck issues that about require that. Also agree that you can go slow and probably make it work. My
question is can you get it mounted to your Cat. 0-1 limited 3-point and if you can, will the tractor pick it up?

I had and used a 3-point blower for twenty five years. Mile long, gravel driveway - big yard - mailbox area. Believe me - if I could have found a front mount blower, that I could afford - that definitely would have been the way I would have gone.

Finally, after twenty seven years, I upgraded to my current tractor - Kubota M6040. It's heavy enough and with the HD Rhino rear blade - I can grade back the berms that will form along the driveway.

I will NEVER forget the shoulder & neck pain from three to four hours of blowing snow in reverse. This is my Kubota and my snow weapon........View attachment 677141

I’m sure it would be but like the idea of having the loader and blower. Anyone have any experience with Inland brand snowblowers?

Most blowers show a HP rating for tractors that would optimize the performance of the tool. Also you want to cover the width of the rear tires.

I have a 50" blower on my BX2200. Works great.

If I upgrade machines, I can get the wings that bolt right on to make it a 60".

I prefer rear mount and keep my loader on for ice removal or back dragging in cove areas that I can't use the blower in.

You want to sell you 50” it looks like your 10miles from me?
