Alright, I've read that link and I definitely think that it's the pressure relief valve. Does anyone have a service manual and can tell me where the valve is. I plan on doing the work myself, times are tough.

Bronze, I think it's on the left side of the case. You can go to :kubotabooks.com tractor parts manuals/bx2200d/ page 109- item # 450 in diagram.
The charge regulator on the hydro must be sticking if you blew up the hydro filter.
I would suggest that you take it to your local Kubota dealer and they will have the know how and ability to fix it right the first time. Your own best intentions may lead to a more expenseive repair so I would say let the dealer fix it.
My BX2200, and several others of which I read about here, got leaks in both the quick-couplings as well as in the hydro lines beneath the tractor, just from age. Both had to be replaced.
