Check out www.barnplans.com I ordered their 12X16 mini-barn. The plans are great, and are meant to be put on concrete slab. The 12x16 can be built with a beam and plywood floor. I have a 24X54 garage and I used 3 8'x9' overhead doors. I wouldn't use the 7' doors. It is nice to have the extra clearance, and cost is really no different. I would bet the 20'X30' barn workshop would work perfect. Check out the site!
I am still trying to find a place to put the 12x16 barn myself.

Suns out again, Things are Humming (PICS)

Finally some decent weather. Poor farmer 38 miles west lost his pig barn to a twister yesterday. I new those clouds looked ugly.
Anyways we now have a cleared fairly level site for the slab.

Now, I gota figure how big to pour the pad.
I was thinking about an all steel building, roof and all what do you Guys thing.

woodstock, I think an insulated all steel building would be first choice if the cost isn't too high. I went to see a cousin Saturday to see his new shop building; 40 x 80, concrete floored, all steel, insulated, 16' walls, 12 x 14 overhead doors in each end, walk door, 12 windows; $41,000, and he hasn't got the electricity and water in yet. Must be nice to have money./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif At least he can finally get his TC29D in out of the weather./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

The red head is Ginger, my 9.4 year old female america golden retiever.
Funny thing about her when she was just a pup, she would race up and down the driveway as I blew snow. One day as she was helping me blow snow, she ran out on to the road and got clipped by the paper delivery truck. Ever since then she hated the Tractor. Every time I started it she would bark her butt off, turn tail and run for the front door to be let in.
At least I thought she hated the tractor. It turns out she just hated the Green JD 318 tractor. However she now loves orange and the growl of the Bota diesel. After an 8 year rest, she is back to helping me and I enjoy the companionship.
She barks if I am going to back into something like one of the 1,00 trees on our property.

the BX

I'm curious as to how your blower hooks up...I'm considering one for the coming winter. Does it interfere with the FEL? Does it have a subframe? Got any pixs of the mount?

Aren't dogs great? Mine follow me everywhere I go when I get on the tractor...makes for someone to talk to when they arent chasing down a rabbit.

The blower mounts with a quick coupler on the front. You could leave the fel on but would damage the blower if it came down. The Quik coupler stays on and it clears the loader. The Quick Coupler also mounts the front blade and the sweeper.

Well I've decided it is going to be 16 by 22, with an 9X8 door offset to one side, no passage door or windows.
