I plan to buy a ballast box for the 3 pt when I get my new tractor. Gotta have something to counteract the weight of the FEL. Otherwise, keep a rear implement on, but your attention to FEL work may divert it from having to watch clearances for rear equipment. The ballast box doesn't stick out much.
One of the problems with dual wheels is they're likely to stick out past stuff, like the FEL when using it for clearing snow or bushhogging is they stick out past the implement you're using. Have this problem on my Gravely with dual wheels.
