Oil & Fuel BX2200 water in fuel comment

The new part # is K21561-96140. I am going to try to attach a photo of the bottom of the new version from the installation instructions for you. This photo show the fuel sensor in the mount, from the inside of the tank, but it gives you an idea what to look for.

I just done this repair myself last week.

That is the correct part # K2561-96140. I realized last night that I forgot to install the original rubber gasket that goes between the fuel sensor and fuel sensor insert(white thing). I put the O rings in that came with the kit but did not use the original gasket. I will tear it down tonight. Should be a 45 minute job.

8 bolts for the ROPS
5 bolts for the fenders.
2 bolts holding tank bracket.
loosen sensor bolts.
Pull sensor out.
Insert rubber gasket.
re-assemble!

Make sure you test your "Mr Funnel" prior to each use. Pouring water in the funnel until it covers the bottom 1/3 of the screen. If no water passes, your Mr. Funnel is working great. Thank you for being a Mr. Funnel Customer.
