BX2200
I have a BX2200 with about 50 hours on it that I bought a few months ago. I went to do the 50-hour service and the manual mentioned a grease fitting on the hydro peddle. I looked and did not find the fitting. I called the dealer and he said something to the effect that the fitting was probably on one of the models made for overseas and not to worry about it. I started reading and looking around I think that it was an update to the BX2200 but I am not sure when it happened. I guess I got an old BX2200 and I am not sure where to go from here.
My questions are:
Did Kubota go back and do the updates to the older BX's.
What else am I missing because he sold me an old one?
Can I get the parts to do the update(s) myself?

Models made for overseas? That's a good one. Either your dealer does'nt have a clue or he thinks you don't.....
There's a service bulletin out for installing a new pedal with updated bushings and a grease fitting, I don't remember the SB# off hand but I'll get it for you. The stuff I read about some dealers on this sight is unreal. /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif

Kubmech is right on the money, as usual. Make the dealer put on the updated pedal mount, otherwise, it'll start to stiffen up on you and stay depressed somewhat when you take your foot off the pedal. The last thing you want is your new baby walking away without you.

My BX came as yours, last January. In Feb it started to give me problems and the dealer replaced it per the service bulletin that Kubmech is talking about. Your dealer should know about it very well. It's NOT a big deal to replace, but could be a big deal if you didn't get it done and someone got hurt....

Thanks for all of the replys and info. I will work with the dealer after the holidays.

By the way, I am loving this machine. I have moved a few ton's of rocks, cut a lot of grass, filled in holes, bush-hoged a field and it has been wonderfull. I live in Asheville NC where the idea of flat land is far away. The low center of gravity and 4wd makes it so easy to get around.
