BX2200
Mowed by 2.5acres yesterday evening for the first time with the BX2200, 60"MMM -WOW, it sure cuts down the mowing time from my prior 42" riding lawnmover - 1hr20min for the whole thing compared to 3+hrs. Makes me wonder how I'll ever get any significant hours on it other than mowing, using the FEL, etc. Question - need a box scaper and don't know what size/quality to go with. I had heard some 4ft box scapers can't be raised to full height due to the scarifers hitting the rear tires, ending up with only 6" ground clearance, which is not enough for me. Local dealer suggested a 42" Landpride for the BX2200 at around $375.

I have a Woods GB48 (Maybe now sold as Gill). It weighs somewhere aroun 350# and clears everything just fine. If I remember right, I picked it up for @$350.

I have the Kubota 7548 which weighes I suppose somewhere between 300 and 350 lbs. It works fine with the BX. There may be times in really tough conditions a 44 or 42 inch might be a better choice but I have never been dissappointed.

MOW!!! What's that, you should still be chained up and waiting on another 8-10" of snow.

I have a 4' box blade I use with my BX. The BX handles it just fine. No clearance problems. I suggest you get a 4' box blade it will be just a bit wider than your rear tires and the same width as your FEL.
