A 2005 with 150 hours and all those implements is absurdly cheap at $10K. It would be a good idea to have somebody go look at it for you to make sure it is the real deal. It won't last long if legit.

Watch out for unusual payment, shipping, or denial to see it in person arrangements. Currently being overseas is a distinct disadvantage for you.

BTW, don't ask anyone here on TBN to go look at it for you. Every one of them would buy it and toss you under the bus - me included!

The experiences of the guys here on TBN is that if it is great deal and the deal is legit, a race begins to get it and there can be little delay. If it is a scam, it won't matter what the price is. Run just as fast away from it. Engage all scam self defense mechanisms!!

To your other question, for me? I'd have a B model for 5 acres of mixed work, but that wasn't in your stated selection choices.

Anti Scam tools

1. Must see the tractor in person. Verify it even exists.

2. Never wire the full funds. A deposit, and a smallish one.

3. Pay the balance upon delivery or taking possession.


Others may have additional steps to follow, but Number 1 is vital. You must verify this tractor actually exists and is owned by a normal person, who should have the original bill of sale, for example, and manual and service record?

Ooooh. The "deliver it to your house" is a red flag with flashing lights for a scam. Next comes the unusual payment requirements.

Try to get a telephone number and address from the guy. Tell him that a friend will come look at it. That should set things in motion and flush him out. Hope its not a scam for your sake but the deal is starting to emit an odor.

I am over-seas, and i need to get a tractor before i come home in Feb so that if i have to finance some of it, the wife and i will both have jobs when we finance it so that we will get a better rate.

Go new at 0 percent .
The rate don't get any better than that.

10K. that sounds like a GREAT price, the tractor just looks tiny...like it might shouldn't even be called a tractor.

Remember looks can be deceiving and big things come in small packages.

Any of these sub-compact tractors --the BX Kubotas, M-F GC series, etc.-- are all very capable, even surprisingly so.

Probably the most under rated under estimated tractors out there.
