Lockport, what fuel bowl are you talking about and were is it located???? I have a bx1500 and both inline fuel filters are the same. One is located under the tractor and the other in the engine compartment. Am I missing something?

My mistake /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I must have been half asleep. I have another Kubota engine and recently parted with another. Both have a glass bowl fuel filter/water seperator that flows in/out from the top. I seem to have described the cleaning procedure for those. I buy the filters at a Kubota tractor dealer and must have associated the thread with that.

Both have a glass bowl fuel filter/water seperator that flows in/out from the top. I seem to have described the cleaning procedure for those. I buy the filters at a Kubota tractor dealer and must have associated the thread with that.

I looked it up in the manual last night. Right there it was, complete with a picture. Thanks.

And thanks for clearing up the issue with the fuel filter bowl.

The correct size on the hydro strainer bolt is 26mm. I know from about two weeks ago. I called the dealer and was told 27mm. I called around and found a 27mm socket at a local auto parts store. I then proceeded to slightly round the head of the strainer bolt due to the small amount of play /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I later read in a post on here that it is a 26mm socket. Got to love those dealers!
