BX2230 shutoff solenoid engages while in operating

Had a problem with the bx2230 not shutting off and found the shutoff solenoid was bad. Replaced and will now shutoff but learned more on how it operated. The tractor was cutting out while mowing and noticed that the solenoid is engaging while in normal operation. It is time for maintenance and I assumed I just had clogged fuel filters...but not now with the solenoid engaging. I assume this is the key switch but would like any other opinions. Thanks.

Could be loose wire or low voltage, so check wires to solenoid, check battery, battery connections and alternator.

Don't know how similiar your machine is to the F2560, but I had issues with my cutoff solenoid too.

Made the mistake of thinking it was the ignition switch.

Check your safety switches to make sure they function and don't have a lose wire. Wiring diagram helped me locate how it was all connected.
