- Kubota L3400DT, John Deere X495
Dropped by my local dealer today and got the following quote:
L3400DT R-1 12,395
LA463 3,690
BH75 6,100
Tax of 1,394 gives 23,579. There's another Kubota dealer (with a great reputation) about 45 minutes away who has beaten this guy pretty handily on some quotes in the past. He quoted me 20,885 on the same setup previously, but that was with the BL4690 hoe. I had been looking at the Deere 990 with a similar setup (430 loader, 8B hoe) but they're wanting 26,800. I just don't see that the extra $$$ would be worth it.
While there, I noticed a BX2230 with one of those Woods Groundbreaker hoes on it. That didn't make much sense, seeing as they make the BX23 with the hoe standard. It must be quite a bit cheaper than a BX23.
