I was thinking today about the BX23 and what she has done over the last 4.5 years. With just short of 900 hours up.
Problems.
Buster a couple of hydraulic lines.
Many punctures.
Neutral selection safety switch fail.
Light and flasher switch failures.
Fuse panel corroded due battery fumes.
Branch through hydro fan.
Not much trouble at all considering what it has done and where it has been.
Have worn out two sets of backhoe teeth.
Have worn the cutting edge of the front bucket down to the bucket metal.
The engine, transmission has not missed a beat. Just as good as new.
Good for a long while yet.
