Interesting that when you changed the front axle oil at 50 hours that it was dark. I had just asked about the change of the front axle oil and someone pointed out that it doesn't need to be changed till 300 hours..... I am now leaning toward changing it at the 50 hour mark...

Yea kinda forgot about that until I went back to repost my post from a year ago when I did the 50 hour service. If you are going to buy a 5 gallon pail of the super udt, you will have some left over, why not change all fluids?? Some also change the fuel filters at 50 hours, but I did not, guess they figure if you change all fluids then change all filters too /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I changed the fluid in my front axle at 50 hours and it was clear. From here on, I will change it a 300 hours.
