I don’t think LBrown was bashing your brother… Just commenting on what you said about his choice not to change hydraulic fluid, just change filters. Myself, I think your brother may be closer to correct, especially in a gear driven machine that dose not subject the fluids to additional heat… In any case I am sure that he meant no direct personal attack on your brother, just a comment on his maintance practices. And as stated it’s not that costly to change and be reasonably sure the PH is also correct. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
As for the used hydro fluid, it will burn great in the oil furnace it’s much cleaner than used engine oil /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif… KennyV.
