Hello fellow TBN'rs, I finally got some seat time this past weekend using the BX23's backhoe to remove seven 25' to 35' foot locus trees from my property. Getting a site ready to put in a new home for the BX23 (barn/shed). Sorry, but I forgot the camera. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Anyway, when I attempted to reinstall the MMM the hydraulic rear links for the MMM would not lower when I push the hydraulic control lever forward. I eventually had to adjust the three point hitch speed control to fast and manually apply pressure to the three point hitch's upper links to get the lower links to come down. I assume the two are connected somehow, but I am not sure. Anyone else experience this kind of problem or is this normal??? The tractor has about eight hours on it now. Thanks in advance for your opinions. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yes, the MMM links are connected to the 3PH via a rod w/spring assist. The MMM link(s) work in conjunction with the 3PH. It's not unusual for the links not to fall without any weight on them especially when the fluid is still cold.
When useing the MMM I set the 3PH speed dial to the fast setting which is all the way counter clockwise.

Part of the setup of the MMM is to adj the spring on the rod that connects the 3PH to the MMM link(s).

8 hrs huh? Well I've only got about 21 now and the good news is it gets better! Do a search on the BX23 and you'll find all kinds of helpful info and modifications you may be interested in.

I went out to install the mower on Tuesday and had the exact same problem. First things I tried were to adjust the speed control, and checked to see if the height control was set to "top". The mower deck links came down if I put some weight on them, but not by themselves. It's sort of cold here though, almost into the low 50's.

Anyway, I stopped by my dealer yesterday to make an appointmen for them to adjust the sticking hydro pedal, and they said that they would look at the mower links at the same time. I can post what they find after I get the tractor back next week. I'm dropping it off Tues morning and should have it back in a day or so.
