BX23 INNER AIR FILTER

Well I have had a BX23 for a while 310 hours and have replaced the outer air filter several times. Where is the inner air filter and how often are you supposed to change it?

If the tractor "has an inner filter" you should have seen another wingnut
that would be holding the second filter using the same threaded rod as the out filterer.

The inner filters mut be replaced every time you change the inner filter as the inner filter is the last defense protecting your engine as it is much finer filtration.


I would prefer the oil bath air filters as they do not clog and the oil that is in the pan holds ALL the dirt and the engines last much longer.

My BX23 only has one paper filter. As far as I know, there is no other air filter there. I've been replacing it about every 100 hours. It's not very dusty here where I live.

what you are doing is fine for your tractor and proactive and keep the tractor running very well.
