I was looking to get a spare, mine says U-SHIN, they show a pic but not a number.
Messicks' "Kubota" pump was $139, most by picture on Amazon are $20.
Is there a quality difference, anyone source U-SHIN direct?

Not sure anybody can tell you what the quality might be, but I can say I bought a fuel shut off solenoid off of eBay or Amazon for about the same savings for my BX 2200 a year ago, and it looked exactly like the OEM part and it’s been performing exactly like the OEM part…

Well, you can buy 7 of those $20 pumps before buying just one $140 OEM pump. I guess its up to you how much of a quality difference there is. I would buy 2 of the $20 pumps and toss one into storage just incase the first one doesn't last. And if the cheap pump dont last very long, you can figure out the math on that pretty easy.
